Joe and the Gang are back, with a unique blend of Pop hits such as 3rd Man Theme, "ole chestnuts" like Sleepy Time Gal & Peg o' My Heart, and tour-de-force novelty numbers like Alle En El Rancho Grande. The liner notes of their album "Presenting..." put it like this: The album features the rich tones of the console steel guitar, played by Joe Maize - an undisputed master of the instrument and leader of the remarkable quartet. While the antics of the Cordsmen are unquestionably hilarious, their music is eminently listenable. The unique quartet, brought together originally by a chance meeting, has been working together for over nine years. They have made public appearances at some of the top hotels and night clubs in the United States and Hawaii. (The Mocambo in Hollywood, Last Frontier in Las Vegas, The Boulevard in New York and many others) On television they have been seen in their own show and other local shows emanating from Salt Lake City, and on the Kate Smith show over the CBS network.

The Hot Club Of America is Jody & Johnny's tribute to the spirit of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli's combo the Hot Club of France. Playing such favorites as Miserlou, Caravan and Brazil. Jody demonstrates his prowess in emulating Latin Percussion and his fondness for Speedy West-like pyrotechnics.
